Week 65 (Finishing touches on the floor loom fabrics)

Weaver's log, Earthdate 26032016
Spring break is here and I took the opportunity to saw in the threads on the ner 40 meters of fabric from the floor loom. Unlike the fabric from the warp weight, I will not felt this, as my contact at the Roskilde Ship museum Anna Nørgaard who have woven most of their sails told me they didn't felt there. The reason I felted the warp-weighted was that the warp couldn't take the beating the same way as in a floor loom that you have even pressure then you beat it, so the end result wasn't as tight and still isn't even tho I felted it. But as it's going to be for the door at the side I don't think it will take as much wind. In the fabric, I found many fond memories of what my classmate drew and this pink dot from last year.
