Monday and its time to get back to work. On today's agenda is to sow the band that I wove with the warp to the stick I did last Friday. In the process, you also get out the threads per centimetre. One little snag though I did not know that I had to pull the ''red'' layer then I warped under the ''blue'' if I had done it that way it should have easily separated the 3 layers of threads but now they are sort of crossed so it will be little more work but a good experience.

It's going faster than expected, and I finished it so tomorrow I will get on to the next step. Two things that really help me where the hoke that you use on a floor loom to lock the threads so I don't lose them once I hade counted and then write down what thread number to start with on the next grouping.

Now the warp is attached to the stick and the stick to the beam and its time to prepare for Heddling, and the first step there is to split the ''blue'' layer, so I have to roll out all of those and cut them and separate them at the loom.

Now then I got the three layers in my three shafts sorted its time to put on the weights. My teacher thought 20 gram per thread would be good so I started weighing weights and putting them up in groups. You can use all sorts of things as weights all from regular stones to bags with sand or clay once as some examples.
